The house is located approximately one kilometre from the centre of the village. All amenities can be found here to include a 24 hour emergency clinic, dentist, schools, chemist, supermarkets, municipal market, hardware stores, and a selection of other shops. There are also numerous cafes tapas bars and restaurants where you can sample the local produce and mix with the friendly locals.

Nearest airports are Almeria which is approximately 50 minutes away and both Malaga and Granada can be reached in two hours.
