The townhouse has been restored to a high standard by its present owners and comprises two bedrooms, an American style lounge diner with fitted kitchen area. There is a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower unit and a large roof terrace. There is also a terrace to the front of the house and sloping garden area at the rear.

Facilities in the village include three supermarkets, municipal and twice monthly markets, doctors, dentist, banks, schools, a good selection of shops and numerous tapas bars and restaurants in which to sample the local produce or simply mingle with the friendly locals.

There have been government grants to improve the area for tourism which has lead to rising prices here. Improvements include palm trees being planted on the beach and seafront, showers and boardwalks on the beach and balustrades and water features along the promenade.

Nearest airports are Almeria , which is a fifty minute drive and Malaga and Granada can be reached in two hours and ninety minutes respectively. There is also a good coach service provided by www.alsinagraells.com and new this year a local bus linking La Rabita , Albuñol El Pozuelo and smaller villages in the area.
