From here you can enjoy the breathtaking views over the village and Contraviesa mountain range down to the Mediterranean . The traditional coastal village of La Rabita is only a five minute drive away.

Amenities in the village include 24 hour emergency clinic, chemist schools, both bi monthly and municipal markets and a selection of shops, not to mention the numerous tapas bars and restaurants.

Nearest airports are Almeria , which is a fifty minute drive and Granada and Malaga , which can be reached in less than two hours. These times will be further reduced with completion of the new motorway in 2009.
